ActionPacked! Networks, a developer of software that provides intelligent visual interaction and control of network devices, announced today that it is providing cash rebates as high as 25 percent for users of PacketShaper appliances who purchase the company’s LiveAction software.
“We want to introduce our technology to PacketShaper users who need help managing QoS for their Cisco devices,” said Nelson Kanemoto, founder of ActionPacked! Networks. “Our software-based approach is also an excellent complement for PacketShaper devices because it provides deep visibility and direct control for Cisco routers without the need for in-line appliances.”
LiveAction software, which operates on a standard Windows PC or server, creates a highly accurate, real-time visual model of the network that IT engineers can use to monitor and control QoS, NetFlow, routing, and IP SLA. The software’s intelligent knowledgebase also correlates these functions automatically to provide a high level of visibility and awareness of what is happening inside the network and to ensure that configuration changes are correct before deploying them to the routers.
The ‘Cash for Shapers’ program, which extends through December 15, 2009, does not require users to turn in or cease using their Packet Shaper equipment, although it does require them to register their devices with ActionPacked! Networks. For more information about this rebate, visit http://www.actionpacked.com/cash-packetshapers-rebate.
